Backed Teriyaki-Ginger Atlantic Char

Dinner

This easily and quickly to prepare fish is a standard for my fish weekend since each Char filet provides for two dinners. I bake the fish with or without (see above) prior marinating and I like to serve just a crusty bread (like Judies French Peasant bread) and a salad.

Served

Arctic Char is one of the healthiest fatty fish (besides of mackerel) since it is land-based farmed and contains an abundance of mono-unsaturated and Omega 6 fats. It is a mild tasting fish of very soft texture and thus benefits from marinating with the flavorful teriyaki ginger sauce.
