This simple pea soup is so easily and quickly prepared from staples and again it came out just right. I enriched it with cut “hot-dogs” making it a satisfying meal, serving maximum ˝ hot dog per serving.

The soaking time and cooking time were just right.

Leftovers are easily divided after cooling down in a fridge overnight.

Cooled down in the fridge the soup solidifys easily

The cold soup can easily split into portions before being warmed up.

Now I like to cook in advance and freeze. I used one whole pound of peas which gave 4 portions each of 2-cups of soup.

Soup ready for eating and freesing after enrichement with one ‘hot dog’ per serving.

The recipe provides 4 portions of 2 cups each.
